Safi Airways launches Kabul-Frankfurt

Afghanistan-based carrier, Safi Airways, has announced the launch of its first intercontinental services from Kabul to Frankfurt. Making the announcement at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, the new direct flights, effective 15 June, will operate three times a week, using Safi’s Boeing 767-200ER aircraft with 18 Business and 196 Economy Class seats.
“This is another landmark for our airline and a great step forward for Afghanistan to re-connect to the world,” said Rahim Safi, Chairman of Safi Airways.
