The hotel industry in Kho Samui, Thailand, showed slight year-on-year improvement in H1 2011. According to data released by C9 Hotelworks, the island’s hospitality sector reported a 2% increase in overall occupancy to 61%, while room rates were up 9% and RevPAR was up 12%.
