Sanya cabbies strike
Hundreds of taxi drivers have gone on strike in the Chinese resort town of Sanya, protesting about high company rental fees, short contracts and competition from unlicensed cabs, the Shanghai Daily has reported.
The stoppage comes just a week after a two-day strike by cabbies in Chongqing brought the central Chinese city to a halt.
