Saudi looks to boost tourism ties with Egypt

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has aggressive plans to boost tourism ties with the Arab world, particularly Egypt. This intent was expressed at the 17th conference of Arab Tourism Ministers in Cairo.
Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities was welcomed by Egyptian minister of tourism Hesham Zaazou, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and the Arab League Ahmad Al-Qattan, and Fahd Al-Fuhaid, president of the Jeddah-based Arab Tourism Organization.
The conference was chaired by Iraq tourism and antiquities minister, Adel Al-Shershab who discussed 18 items including an Arab tourism strategy, and streamlining flow of tourists between countries in the region by looking at issues such as visas. There were also discussion on security issues and decision on the annual Arab tourism capital.
