SeaDream Yacht Club has released details of its first ever season sailing in Asia and northern Australia.
Following the completion of its 2013 Mediterranean season, the company’s SeaDream II mega-yacht will sail to Asia on its ‘Passage to the Far East’ voyage. This transitional cruise will depart Athens in October 2013 before sailing through the Suez Canal and on to Mumbai before finally arriving in Singapore.
From Singapore, SeaDream II will operate a season of seven- to 15-day voyages to a range of Asian destinations including Northern Australia, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
“Virtually every country in the region is accessible by water and SeaDream’s yachting itineraries include an incredible mix of commercial cities, pristine beaches and impressive historical sites. We’ve planned very unique calls, such as the little-visited islands of the Burmese Mergui Archipelago in the Andaman Sea and Sanya, on Hainan Island in China,” said SeaDream’s President, Bob Lepisto.
SeaDream II is a 56-cabin mega-yacht offering a range of onboard amenities, including two restaurants, a library, piano bar, casino, fitness centre, beauty salon, golf simulator and watersports centre. All cabins come with queen or twin beds, as well as marble bathrooms and ocean views, while three suites – the Owner’s Suite, Admiral Suite and Commodore Suite – feature separate living areas and large windows.
Asian itineraries will include a New Year cruise, spending New Year’s Eve in Phuket.
