Second ibis for Singapore

At the opening of the first ibis hotel in Singapore yesterday – ibis Singapore on Bencoolen – Accor announced plans for a second ibis in the city state - ibis Singapore Novena. Located on Balestier Road, close to Orchard road, the 241-room hotel is due for completion in 2011.
Michael Issenberg, Chairman and CEO of Accor Asia Pacific said; “As one of the world’s largest economy hotel brands, this new ibis hotel in Singapore will benefit from strong international brand recognition and fills a void of quality, affordable accommodation in the economy market segment.”
