Security at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is being tightened in an effort to counter potential terrorist threats, the Antara news agency has reported. Airport operator, PT Angakasa Pura-II, will strengthen security at both the arrival and departure terminals, with stringent checks on all inbound and outbound passengers, their luggage, and vehicles entering the airport’s perimeter. The company has also posted extra security officials and some 300 hidden cameras around the hub, the report added.
