Yorkshire-based company Roomzzz Aparthotel has attributed its affordable and self-catering offering to a soaring rise in profits and revenue.
September 2013 has been named the firm’s best month in its seven-year history, with revenues up 8% in the month year-on-year.
Its financial year to the end of September has shown revenue growth of 11%, which it believes it has achieved by keeping rates steady as hotel prices creep up. Its self-catering offering has also helped boost numbers as guests save money cooking rather than heading out for dinner.
“We are enjoying incredible results across all locations, one aspect of our development that we are particularly proud of is that the brand is able to forge ahead, making these significant gains without increasing our rate to our guests,” said Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz UK.
Roomzzz has six properties across the UK with 229 rooms. Openings are planned for Chester City, London Stratford, Liverpool and Birmingham.
