Serviced apartment company SACO has seen a 50% growth in bookings across Europe this year compared to 2011, it has revealed.
The company has expanded its portfolio by 8,000 properties in the last year with new locations including Egypt, Germany, Qatar, Slovenia, Brazil, Poland and the USA.
Its international expansion started with opening an office in the US, with two extra team members to be appointed there this year. Target growth areas include Boston, LA, New York, UAE, China and Brazil.
“We were receiving enquiries for locations where we either didn’t have apartments or simply didn’t have the number of apartments to meet demand. Information we were gathering about business travel trends and customer demand soon confirmed an increase in overseas business travel,” said Nicole O’Connor, network partner manager at SACO. “Therefore, this year we have focussed on finding new, suitable partners that could extend our reach but still provide the same level of customer care and service we are known for.”
