The Seychelles Tourism Board Office in Dubai has successfully completed its 2016 GCC Roadshow.
The roadshow, which took place from 23 to 27 October, kicked off in Abu Dhabi and concluded in Bahrain and paved the way for the travel trade to meet the Seychelles tourism industry, including 13 hoteliers, DMCs and airline companies such as Air Seychelles.
The delegation included Constance Hotels & Resorts, Creole Travel Services, Eden Bleu Hotel, Enchanted Island Resort, Kempinski Seychelles Resort, Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove, Maia Luxury Resort, Mason’s Travel, Savoy Resort & Spa, The H Resort and Vision Voyages.
The Seychelles has witnessed a 33.17% hike in visitor numbers from the Middle East this year, proving its increased popularity, said Ahmed Fathalla, Regional Manager, Seychelles Tourism Board Dubai Office.
“The recently concluded STB Dubai Office GCC Roadshow 2016 strengthened and deepened the trade sector’s confidence in selling the destination to the consumer segment,” he said. “We believe that this roadshow is a good way for us to fortify our relationship with the trade sector which is a big factor for us to attain our year on year goal.”
