Shaheen Air to commence Muscat-Islamabad service

Shaheen Air, a private Pakistani airline recently announced the launch of its Muscat-Islamabad flight effective 5 April 2016.
The service will run once a week on Tuesdays. The airline will be operating an A330-200 aircraft on this route. With this flight, the airline will have a total of six flights weekly between Muscat and Pakistan. This includes three weekly flights to Lahore, and one weekly flight to Sialkot and Peshawar respectively.
“Expanding operations on the Oman-Pakistan route is in line with our growth strategy for Oman,” said Huzaifa Halai, manager-Oman, Shaheen Air. The flight NL778 will leave Islamabad every Monday at 12.30pm and arrive in Muscat at 2.45pm. From Muscat, it will depart every Tuesday at 7am and arrive in Islamabad at 10.45am.
Recently, the airline also launched services on the Islamabad-Manchester route and has plans to add more destinations. Shaheen Air has also upgraded the aircraft on the Muscat-Lahore route to an A330-200 on Mondays, Halai added. National Travel & Tourism is the general sales agent of Shaheen Air in Oman.
