Most of the world’s top sellers of luxury travel who attended the three-day invitation-only gathering last June, have already signed-up for next year’s show and another 1,000 sq m of exhibition space has been added to fulfill demand, the organisers said.
Unlike any other trade show, appointments between buyers and sellers at ALTM are organised before the event.
“The success of ALTM is reflected in the number of pre-scheduled appointments that were organised in its first year. Over 10,000 appointments took place over the three days of the event,” said Martens.
He said the majority of VIP Buyers who attended this year’s show have committed for the 2008 event. These include representatives from Virtuoso Australia/New Zealand, American Express Asia Pacific, Quintessentially and Ten Lifestyle Management.
