Shanghai may launch commuter ferries

Residents in Shanghai will soon be able to catch a ferry to and from work, as the city tries to find new ways of overcome road and rail congestion. According to a Shanghai Daily report, officials have already started canvassing public opinion about the scheme, which could see ferry routes being established along 15 rivers stretching in the city’s Minhang district.
