Shanghai’s two international airports, Pudong and Hongqiao, will be connected by a two-hour subway ride when the city’s Metro Line 2 extension opens today, the Shanghai Daily has reported. Less than a month ago after Line 2’s westward extension to Hongqiao International Airport was opened, the eastern section linking to Pudong will become operational, adding a further eight stations from Guanglan Road Station to the Pudong International Airport Station.
