Shangri-La expands in northeast China

Shangri-La Asia has announced its continued expansion in northeast China with the signing of a new hotel in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province. Due to open in 2015, the 400-room Shangri-La Hotel Jinan hotel will add to the company’s existing property in Shandong, Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao, and Shangri-La Hotel Qufu, which is scheduled to open at the end of 2012.
The new Jinan property will be located on Luoyuan Street in Lixia District, the city’s main commercial centre, close to the provincial government offices and the Jinan International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Guestrooms will range in size from 45-225m
