The Ramadan & Eid Fair at Expo Centre Sharjah witnessed a 17% rise in footfalls this year. The 24-day event registered nearly 104,466 visitors over the past year’s turnout of 89,332.
“It is impressive to note that there is an encouraging rise in visitor numbers during the summer months. During this period, expat families are often out of the country so the 17% rise is a record for the fair,” said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, director-general, Expo Centre Sharjah.
As per statistics, some days of the fair witnessed over 50% rise in visitors. The bulk of visitors are from neighbouring GCC countries.
