Starwood Hotels & Resorts said Sheraton Fiji Resort will undergo a refurbishment next year that will set new standards in family and conference resort choices in Fiji. The extensive US$22 million refurbishment starts in April and will cover all areas of the resort. To complete the project, the resort will close from April 1 till its reopening on October 1 next year.
“It’s a very timely refurbishment that will position Sheraton Fiji Resort as a leader in the family, conference and incentive markets, unlike any other resort in Fiji, a destination that attracts travellers from around the world,” said Shane Cunning, Managing Director of Sheraton and Westin Resorts Denarau Island, Fiji.
