Shurooq puts the spotlight on its tourism projects

The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) recently announced its intent to showcase its key tourism projects at the forthcoming Arabian Travel Market 2016.
The authority will highlight its current and future projects and the international standard of its tourist and leisure destinations. Plans are also on to hold meetings with travel agents and tourism industry representatives to discuss avenues of joint cooperation and showcase investment opportunities in the tourism, travel and holiday sectors in Sharjah.
Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, COO of Shurooq said: “Projects such as Mleiha Eco-tourism and Archaeological Project, al Badayer and Kalba Eco-tourism Project are the first of a series of initiatives we operate in this niche sector that hold numerous investment opportunities. The diverse portfolio of tourism projects that we will be showcasing at ATM 2016 also includes Al Qasba, Al Majaz Waterfront, Heart of Sharjah, Al Jabal Resort, The Chedi Khorfakkan, Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park, Al Bait Hotel, al Badayer Desert Camp and Al Noor Island.”
