Singapore Airlines (SIA) is to allow travel agents access to competitive fares all its cabins as part of a new agency sales distribution strategy.
All IATA-appointed agencies will have access to the new fares which will include first, business and economy class.
“Since I took over the general manager’s role in January, I have been holding regular discussions with our valued trade partners. As a result, I am delighted to announce this change to our distribution strategy, which seeks to further strengthen and expand our existing relationships within the travel agency community,” said Wilson Yong, general manager UK & Ireland at SIA.
“The change demonstrates our commitment to working closely with the UK travel trade, which remains an important part of our business,” he added.
The carrier is also adding connections into Australia this year, increasing its Melbourne services to four times a day and operating 12 weekly flights to Adelaide.
