SIA witnesses passenger boost in 2014

The year 2014 has been a positive one for Sharjah International Airport (SIA).
The airport reported a 11.76% increase in passenger traffic for 2014 compared to a year earlier, as reported by Gulf News.
The airport recorded 9.5 million passengers compared to 8.5 m in 2013.
Ali Salim Al Midfa, chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority said: “Robust passenger traffic growth continues at Sharjah International Airport.”
The number of aircraft landings and take-offs at Sharjah International rose 6.5% to 70,559 in 2014 from 66,247 a year earlier.
