An Oman Air flight was forced to change course and land in Mumbai, not the intended destination, when the pilot fell sick during the flight on Saturday.
The aircraft, en route from Muscat to Chennai was carrying 100 passengers when it made the unscheduled landing.
Passengers were accommodated in a hotel in Mumbai as they awaited the arrival of another Oman Air pilot who flew in from Muscat to relieve his ailing colleague. Passengers were then able to continue their journey to Chennai.
