“Besides extending their market reach to over15,000 travel agency locations
in the region, the easy availability of FT’s latest fares on our FareX
solution will certainly facilitate travel agent bookings and in turn
catalyse the airline’s expansion”, said Kenneth Low, Vice President, South
Asia, Abacus International.
Abacus said with FareX, travel agents now have easy access to airlines’
latest fares without the need for sieving through numerous fare sheets from
different airlines.
Suphit Riensavapak, Marketing and Distrbution Director of Bangkok Airways,
said, “With their suite of effective booking tools such as Abacus FareX, we
are confident that this partnership places our airlines in good stead to tap
the robust growth of Asia’s travel industry.”
Bangkok Airways is Thailand’s first privately-ownedairline, flying to 20
destinations in eight countries. In 1998, the airline launched Siem Reap
Airways, which has since grown to be Cambodia’s largest airline, with
operations to 12 destinations in the region.
