Singapore’s SilverNeedle Hospitality celebrated the debut of its new upscale hotel brand with the launch of its flagship property NEXT Hotel Brisbane on Monday.
“We are excited to launch the first of our flagship brand, NEXT Hotels®, in Brisbane,” said Iqbal Jumabhoy, managing director and group CEO of SilverNeedle Hospitality.
Formerly known as Lennons, the property has undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment prior to its rebranding as Silverneedle’s flagship NEXT Hotel.
The 304-room property boasts Lennons Restaurant & Bar, an outdoor pool deck overlooking, and retail space that will host Australia’s first Forever 21, a US-based fast fashion brand. Located in Queen Street Mall, in close proximity to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Convention Centre and the scenic Brisbane River, NEXT Hotel Brisbane is located to suit the professional and leisure needs of the business traveller.
NEXT Hotels is a new upper upscale hotel brand designed specifically to address the needs of the modern business traveller. Space, technology and service are re-engineered to help business travellers optimise their time, helping the brand to deliver on its promise: “Designed to Make your Time Count.”
Through the brand’s focus on technology, NEXT Hotel Brisbane introduces a number of new products never seen before in Australia.
This is the first hotel in Australia where guests can use their smartphones as mobile keys for their rooms when they download the NEXT app. NEXT Hotel Brisbane is also the first hotel to provide a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone in every room that guests can access as a wireless hotspot when they are outside the hotel.
“Our dedication to providing innovative service points to our commitment in making time count for our busy guests,” said Mr. Jumabhoy.
