Silversea is operating a series of expedition cruises to Australia and New Zealand in the coming months.
The Silver Discoverer ship will operate two distinct itineraries Down Under, taking passengers to Australia’s Kimberley Coast and New Zealand’s southern sub-Antarctic islands, on voyages of nine to 16 days.
Including a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungle mountain range and an exploration of the Hunter River wetlands, the 10-day Kimberley voyages depart from April to May 2015.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand Antipodes and Sub-Antarctic Islands voyages started this month and continue into December. They include visits to five island groups that are home to penguins and sea lions, while passengers can also hike to the crater of an active volcano.
All cruises are taken aboard the luxury Silver Discoverer expedition ship, which offers ocean-view suites and butler service.
