Six Senses Spa to open in Switzerland
Six Senses Resorts & Spas has signed an agreement to manage the hotel spa at the new Alpina Gstaad hotel in Switzerland.
Scheduled to open in December 2012, the Alpina Gstaad is a new luxury boutique hotel located Bernese Alps. The 2,000m² Six Senses Spa will be built from locally-sourced materials such as local Swiss pine wood, and will feature a floatation room, a Hammam, five single treatment rooms, and a range of individual treatment rooms dedicated to specialist therapies such as colour therapy and colonic hydrotherapy. Other facilities include a salt room, swimming pool, relaxation rooms, a juice bar, gym, yoga studio and kids’ spa.

The Six Senses Spa will offer a range treatments and therapies, as well as personal detox, weight-loss and fitness programmes.
