SkyTeam, the airline alliance, has launched a new fast-track immigration service for its premium passengers.
Under the group’s ‘SkyPriority‘ scheme, which offers a series of extra services to premium passengers, fast-track lanes will now be available at airport security and immigration areas.
The service has already been rolled out at 39 of the alliance’s top global airports, and will eventually be put in place at 60 global hubs. Other SkyPriority services, such as dedicated check-in areas, priority boarding and baggage drop off, are now available at more than 1,000 airports worldwide.
“SkyPriority is the first alliance-branded service to be successfully implemented globally. We have a significant increase in our customer satisfaction ratings that directly corresponds to the service rollout across our network,” said Michael Wisbrun, SkyTeam’s managing director.
“By offering fast-track services at our 27 hubs and further 33 top airports that are served by more than six SkyTeam members, we are demonstrating our continued commitment to enhancing the travel experience for our top global customers.”
SkyTeam has also launched a ‘SkyPriority Finder’ tool on its website. This will allow passengers to find out what SkyPriority services are available at the airports through which they are travelling.
There are currently 20 members of SkyTeam, including Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM, Korean Air and China Southern Airlines.
