Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has unveiled a new travel agent reward programme.
The ‘Small Luxury Heroes’ initiative, which is being launched to coincide with the company’s 25th anniversary, will offer loyal travel agents a variety of rewards, ranging from Amazon gift cards to SLH gift certificates and complimentary room nights.
The programme kicks off with an incentive that will give agents who register for the programme before 31 January 2016 the chance to win one of 25 US$1,000 SLH gift certificates. These vouchers can be used towards a stay at any of SLH’s 520 hotels around the world.
“Travel agents are the heroes of our business. We hope that by launching Small Luxury Heroes we can further inspire them to champion the SLH brand by providing a platform through which they can better engage with their peers and our hotels. As we celebrate 25 years of working with the travel industry we hope our Small Luxury Heroes will become our ambassadors for the next 25 years and beyond,” said Filip Boyen, CEO of SLH.
Agents can register to become Small Luxury Heroes at agents.slh.com, and will receive a ‘Luxury Agent ID’ linked to their profile on the SLH travel agents’ website. They can then enter this when making reservations via the GDS, SLH.com or the company’s call centre. Each booking will earn points which will accumulate and can be redeemed whenever the agent chooses.
Reservations by travel agents account for almost two thirds the company’s bookings.
