Smoking ban for Tokyo rail stations

Around 200 railways stations in and around Tokyo completely banned smoking this week, with all ashtrays having been removed from platforms.
The Japan Times reported that the ban was imposed at all stations within a 50km radius of Tokyo Station, including in Chiba, Kanagawa, Saitama and Ibaraki prefectures.
