SOUTH Korea’s defense procurement agency said that US aerospace giant Boeing was the only company to bid yesterday for a $2.5 billion contract to supply South Korea with 20 fighter jets by 2012.
The bidding process is expected to open one more time before a decision is made on a manufacturer early next year.
