SpiceJet has started an ‘On-Time Guarantee’ program for its passengers, following a significant improvement in its
On-Time Performance (OTP) over the past few months.
Effective 6 May 2014, effected passengers due to flight delay of more than 60 minutes due to reasons in control of SpiceJet will be given INR500 voucher for their next travel. Similarly, passengers travelling on flights which are cancelled or delayed by over 120 minutes will be given a voucher worth INR1,000.
“We have delivered a significant improvement in our OTP over the last few months. This is the result of SpiceJet’s renewed focus on delivering superior customer experience, based on the principle of SOCCH: Safe, On-Time, Clean, Courteous and Hassle-free,” said Kaneswaran Avili, chief commercial officer of SpiceJet.
The program does not cover any delay due to weather and air traffic congestion.
