Shanghai-based Spring Airlines will launch a daily flight to the Thai province of Krabi from Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province tomorrow.
Flights will depart Chengdu’s Shuangliu International Airport at 1100, arriving at the beach destination at 1405. The return flight will leave Krabi at 1455 and get back to Chengdu at 1925. The carrier will deploy its 180-seat Airbus A320 jet on the route.
Spring Airlines will compete with Sichuan Airlines on the Chengdu-Krabi route. The low-cost carrier also flies to Bangkok and Surat Thani from Chengdu.
