The magazine surveyed 4,000 Australians who were required to rank airlines against specific categories including value for money, booking process, check-in procedures, seat comfort, legroom, food, cleanliness, in-flight entertainment, toilet facilities and convenient flights.
SQ regional vp Paul Tan said he was “delighted to hear that Australian consumers enjoy their experiences when flying with Singapore Airlines.
“At Singapore Airlines we pride ourselves on our commitment to client service and excellence and we are always striving to set the bar higher,” he added.
Recent upgrades to the carrier’s aircraft including the “biggest” business class seat in the sky, installation of the next generation KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system and other improvements across all classes have impressed Choice readers.
“2007 has been an excellent year for the airline with outstanding passenger support and strong financial results,” Tan said.
The airline is expected to continue impressing passengers when it flies the first commercial service Airbus A380 from Singapore into Sydney Airport later this year.
