Sri Lanka hosts World Spice Food Festival

The 5th World Spice Food Festival is set to take place from 14 to 25 July in Sri Lanka, with world class chefs being flown in from all over the world to bring the capital, Colombo, alive with spicy flavours!
The annual event is an 11 day culinary extravaganza, with Ananda Kumaraswami Mawatha (Green Path) becoming the main attraction as it is transformed into a “Global Spice Food Village”, with chefs from around the world cooking up a storm while visitors are entertained with complimentary live entertainment. Chefs from India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Italy, Vietnam, South Africa, The Philippines, China and Korea will be joining local chefs to tempt taste buds.
Following the 3 day “Global Spice Food Village”, events will move into local hotels and restaurants, where 15 different cuisines will be showcased over a week. The festival culminates in a closing ceremony being held at the Waters Edge Battaramulla on 24th July.
