Close to 400 staff and management positions are on offer at the first international luxury hotel to open in Singapore in more than ten years.
According to Yngvar Stray, the newly-appointed general manager of the St. Regis Hotel, Singapore; “As St. Regis is a legendary name in hospitality, dating back more than a century, we felt it appropriate to hold our recruitment exercise in one of Singapore’s heritage buildings, so that potential talent will understand that St. Regis is not just another hotel, but a legend with a rich history,”
Positions on offer at the new St. Regis Singapore range from housekeeping for the 299 luxurious guestrooms and suites to conference and banqueting, concierge and front office, spa and fitness, and food and beverage, as well as St. Regis Butlers who are the hallmark of the brand and who are the main point of contact for hotel guests. The butlers will take care of the requests and needs of each guest.
“I will not be at all surprised to welcome over 1,000 applicants. A single classified advertisement earlier this year attracted more than 500 responses,” said Yngvar Stray.
