The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi is set to unveil seven distinctive food and beverage venues in November. The first St. Regis to open doors in the Middle East, the resort will offer indoor and outdoor dining options.55&5th, The Grill, a classic New York-style grill and lounge is the resort’s signature venue. Inspired by the address of the original St. Regis New York, the restaurant features a private dining room, an exclusive cellar, complete with Jazz music, cigars and bespoke service. Olea, Mediterranean influenced, is the all-day dining venue of the resort. Located on the lower level of the lobby with a panoramic view of the pools and the ocean, this restaurant features a multitude of cooking stations.Worldly guests with a penchant for a more intimate setting can visit the floating pavilions of Sontaya, the hotel’s Southeast Asian restaurant, looking out to the beach and across the Arabian Gulf. The Manhattan Lounge is a cocktail lounge positioned on the lobby level that boasts a large terrace overlooking the ocean.Turquoiz is a beach restaurant with a large sunset terrace that serves a selection of seafood, light meals and snacks.The Drawing Room, the lobby lounge, serves afternoon tea, while the resort’s pastry shop, Sucre, offers handmade chocolates, pastries and bespoke cakes. Speaking on the resort’s culinary experience, executive chef Daniel Nuss said: “We will offer simple yet exquisite food across all our venues. My team of chefs were chosen from around the world so that guests truly experience the flavours that complement the surroundings.”
