ROBERT KING has been announced as the new Director of Business Development for the Hilton Hefei in Anhui province, China. With 14 years hospitality industry experience King has previously held leading sales and marketing roles with various five-star hotel chains.
FLORIA WUN has been appointed Director of Public Relations at the Ritz-Carlton Beijing. Prior to joining Ritz-Carlton, Beijing, Ms Wun held various communications and marketing positions within the hospitality industry, including working for The Park Lane hotel and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
JAMES FAN has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager (Rooms) at the Meritus Mandarin Singapore. With 25 years industry experience, Fan has held executive management positions at hotels across China, most recently serving as Director of Rooms for Hyatt Regency Dongguan.
HENRY NG has also joined the executive team at the Meritus Mandarin Singapore, taking on the role of Director of Sales. Ng previous spent more than a decade in Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, while his was last appointed was as Director of Business Development at Siam Express Singapore.
TEJBIR SINGH ANAND has been announced as the new President of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI). Singh Anand, who serves as Managing Director of Holiday Moods Adventure was earlier Treasurer of the ATOAI. He succeeds outgoing President, Ajeet Bajaj.
DAVID NELSON has been appointed Vice President of Technology for IDeaS Revenue Optimization. Nelson joins IDeaS with more than 20 years of technology industry leadership experience, most recently with Thomson-Reuters where he served in three executive positions.
SEAN CAMPBELL has been announced as the new Group Director of Learning & Development for Six Senses Resorts & Spas. Campbell brings with him over 15 years of training and consulting experience across various industries in different countries including United States, Sweden and Thailand.
RENATA HUTASOIT has also joined Six Senses as the new Director of Sales for the Six Senses Destination Spa Phuket. Prior to joining Six Senses, Ms Hutasoit held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing for Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts in Bali.
DAVID GUO has been appointed as Director Sales & Marketing of the Zendai Hotel Yin and Zendai Art Hotel - twin luxury hotels under development in Shanghai. Chinese national Guo is a sales and marketing veteran of top hotels in China, and was previously Director of Sales & Marketing at the Mandarin Oriental, Sanya.
TRAN XUAN HOANG has taken the helm as Executive Chef at the Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort & Spa. Tran has worked at the resort since its opening in 1997 and has worked his way up from his initial position of bartender, having been trained by numerous European chefs.
