PETER LACAZE has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer of Stella Travel Services. Lacaze, who takes over the role from Keith Stanley who resigned earlier this week, has previously been CEO of both Jetset and Qantas Holidays.
MARKKU NOKKALA has been announced as the new Vice President - Planning for Oman Air. Finnish national Nokkala was previously employed with Qatar Airways as its Senior Manager for Network Management, and has held positions with Finnair.
TERRY DINTERMAN has been appointed as the new Vice President, Technology Services, with JetBlue Airways. Dinterman takes the newly created role following a spell as previously Vice President of Solution Delivery at CNA Financial Corp, a national commercial insurance carrier based in Chicago.
SHRI M. MADHAVAN NAMIBAR has been announced as the new Secretary for India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation. Namibar takes over from outgoing Secretary, Shri Ashok Chawla.
IVAN CASADEVALL has been officially announced as the General Manager of the 60 all-suite Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa, Bali. Spanish national Casadevall has 15 year experience in hospitality in Europe and Asia including roles with Sol Melia, Victoria, and Anantara.
CHRISTINE TOGUCHI has joined Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific as part of its new Corporate Director of Marketing. Toguchi previously owned and managed MacroVision Network, a Distribution Marketing and Revenue Optimisation Strategy company.
MIKE TIEDY has been appointed Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Senior Vice President, Brand Design & Innovation. Tiedy arrives from Nordstrom, where he held the position of Vice President Create Design.
DARREN GEARING has been appointed General Manager of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. He was previously Senior Director of Development based at the Shangri-La corporate offices in Hong Kong. Gearing will also be responsible for all Shangri-La properties in Hong Kong.
