TED TENG has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of The Leading Hotels of the World. Teng managed his own hotel investment and operations firm, Prime Opus Partners, LP, which he founded in 2006. Prior to that he served as President & CEO of Wyndham International Inc.
JOHN McDONNELL has been appointed as Accor’s new General Manager of Human Resources - Australia. McDonnell joins Accor after previously working as Executive General Manager Human Resources for the Voyages hotel group. ANDREW DUFTY has been announced as the new vice president of international marketing for the Wyndham Hotel Group. Based in London, Dufty, was previously General Manager, Marketing, for British Midland Airway.
LINDA LI has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton Xiamen Hotel. Li has previously worked in Sales & Marketing roles for the InterContinental Chongqing, JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing and Harbor Plaza Chongqing. Prior to moving the Sheraton Xiamen Hotel, Li was the Director of Sales of Sheraton Chengdu Lido Hotel.
EDMUND PAK has been appointed the new Director of Revenue for the InterContinental Grand Stanford in Hong Kong. Singaporean national Pak, previously worked as the Director of Revenue Management at the Shanghai JC Mandarin, part of the Meritus Hotels and Resorts group.
ADAM PHILLIPS has been appointed as Etihad Airways’ new Country Manager for Malaysia. Bernama reported that Phillips takes over from Lindsay White who has moved to become the airline’s Country Manager for Australia. Phillips was previously Etihad’s Head of Alliances, having joined the Abu Dhabi carrier in May 2007.
