Starwood has opened a new Aloft hotel in the eastern Chinese city of Yancheng.
The new Aloft Yancheng becomes the first internationally-branded hotel in this city of 3.6 million people, located on Jiangsu province.
The property features 299 rooms, all with free Wi-Fi, connections for electronic gadgets, and 42-inch LED TVs. The hotel will also offer 380m² of meeting space, a restaurant, bar, 24/7 self-service food outlet, fitness centre and indoor swimming pool. There will also be billiards and table tennis facilities and a live music programme.
“From the recent opening in Dalian to Aloft Yancheng, Aloft reflects a growing demand for design-led hotels with a lively social scene in emerging cities,” said Qian Jin, Starwood’s president for Greater China. “We are thrilled to add Yancheng… to our robust portfolio in China.”
