Stricken Vietnam Airlines’ plane returns home

A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 777 that suffered an engine breakdown at Tokyo’s Narita Airport four months ago has landed safely back at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, VietnamNet Bridge has reported.
The aircraft was grounded at Narita after the discovery of smoke billowing out of the starboard engine during landing on 30 July. The reason for the incident has still not been confirmed.
