The aspiration of many cheeky flyers is to join the ‘Mile High Club’. But now a company is offering couples the chance to enjoy each other’s company beneath the waves.
According to Orange News, luxury property rental specialists, Oliver’s Travels, is advertising the use of a specially adapted submarine, in which romantic couples can join a new, elite band of intrepid travellers – the ‘Mile Low Club’.
The vessel, nicknamed ‘Lovers Deep’, will be staffed by a crew of three people – the captain, a chef and personal butler, operating anywhere in the world, from the Caribbean to the Red Sea.
Private speedboat or helicopter transfers will take guests to and from the sub, and once onboard they will be treated a life of luxury beneath the waves, including champagne breakfast in bed.
Membership of this exclusive club doesn’t come cheap however; prices start from GBP175,000 (US$293,000) per night, excluding air travel.
