Swiss Belhotel International group has aggressive plans to expand its presence in the Middle East region. The Group’s chairman and president Gavin Faull is of the view that countries such as UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman already have strong presence.
“We would like to push ahead with further expansion strategies. Plans are underway to open 20 new hotels in 2015 in the Gulf and other countries of the Middle East, this would further bolster our presence,” added Faull.
Some of the key projects in KSA include operation and management of four-star Swiss Belhotel Riyadh hotel which comprises 126 rooms and the Swiss Belboutiqe in Riyadh in 2015.
Faull further explained that the group has already added Swiss Belhotel Saif in Bahrain and Swiss Belresort Ghantout in Dubai besides Swiss Belhotel Plaza in Kuwait and Swiss Belhotel Doha in Qatar. The slated opening for 2015 includes Swiss Belhotel Alghabra in Muscat and Swiss Belhotel Erbil.
“There are also plans to expand in other countries, including Egypt and Turkey,” concluded Faull.
