Swiss-Garden International is rebranding the Swiss-Inn Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel’s name will remain the same, but the logo will now include the strapline: “An international hip hotel”, reflecting a new contemporary image.
Following a refurbishment, the hotel will feature a new, modern lobby, while the Café Petaling will see contemporary décor featuring murals of KL’s Chinatown district. The hotel’s rooms will also be refreshed with a range of new amenities. The refurbishment and rebranding exercise is expected to be completed in July 2012.
“The new hip lifestyle brand is part of the group’s marketing strategy to realign its brand identity. It is relevant, incorporates a modern twist and most importantly meets the demand of a new generation of savvy travellers,” explained Linda Evelyn Wong, Swiss-Garden’s Group Corporate Marcom Manager.
Ms Wong also informed Travel Daily that while the new brand concept will initially only apply to the Swiss-Inn Kuala Lumpur, the company is looking at the possibility of rebranding other hotels in the near future.
