Sydney’s tallest building, Sydney Tower, will turn off its lights and offer two special “Sydney by Moonlight” Skywalks during Earth Hour on March 29.
The two tours will see Skywalkers equipped with individual torches for their open-air walk when Sydney’s buildings turn off their lights together at 8pm.
Most lights will also go out on Sydney Tower’s 250-metre high Observation Deck at 8pm.
Following the success of the Sydney-centric event in 2007, Earth Hour has morphed into a global campaign to urge locals and businesses to switch off their lights for one hour as a sign of their commitment to reduce global warming.
