Taiwan’s Hualien County is to hold its first Pacific International Tourism Festival on 26 December, in the hope of attracting more visitors from around the world, Taiwan News reported.
The festival will target tourists from China, Europe and North America who plan to celebrate Chinese New Year in Asia, urging them to make Hualien their destination. The 10-day festival will include a large pop concert featuring nearly 100 local performers, international concerts, light aircraft shows, and several exhibitions.
