Taiwan to develop tourist spots

The Taiwan News reported thatthe five attractions, which will be named in May, will each be given TW$300 million(US$8.9 million) over two years to upgrade facilities and attract investment.
The move is part of Taiwan’s TW$550 billion tourism-stimulationplan, which aims to create 400,000 jobs, attract private investment worthNT$200 billion and bring in world famous hotel chains.
