Taiwan plans to increase arrivals from India to about 25,000 in 2009, up from the 20,000 it received in 2008, Anil Mathur reports.
The country plans to scrap visa requirements for Indians by April this year, if they already hold a visa for EU, US, Canada or Australia, among other countries. The country recently held trade shows in New Delhi and Mumbai and hopes to increase awareness of the country to greater efforts by way of media and trade visits.
