The Tamani Marina Hotel in Dubai will launch several new services and offers in the coming year.
Some of the plans include charitable works and voluntary initiatives focusing on the large development witnessed by family tourism and Sharia-compliance.
Walid Al-Awa, director of Tamani Marina Hotel said: “Family tourism ranks second within the UAE, ahead of other Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and Morocco. This is evident from the culture and traditions that are showcased within the country.”
Tamani Marina in focusing on the family segment offers several options for this segment in terms of size of apartments ranging from studios to four rooms with longer durations. The hotel also includes all facilities and amenities of the family swimming pools, gyms, meeting rooms and places for prayer, as well as care for children.
“We want to tap into the growing family segment. As per global statistics, the family tourism worldwide ratio is reaching 12.5% of the total global tourism market. This is further expected to reach a total value of more than US$181 billion by 2018,” said Al-Awa.
Tourism experts predicted that the family tourism sector will enjoy a steady annual growth rate of 4.79% until 2020, which is higher than the global annual rate of tourism in general.
