TAT plans more overseas offices

The Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to open three overseas offices in the coming months, Anil Mathur reports. Santi Chundintra, Director of the TAT’s American Market Division, told media at the PATA Travel Mart in Hangzhou that open offices in Mumbai later this year, followed by Jakarta and Kunming in 2010. The opening in Kunming, Yunnan province, will increase TAT’s presence in China to three cities, adding to the offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
