Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) recently launched today its Abu Dhabi ambassadors programme in the presence of TCA Abu Dhabi’s senior officials.
The programme is aimed at enhancing a visitors experience in the emirate through interactions with locals.
“We have selected 106 participants from over 300 applicants. We are confident the programme’s activities will contribute to providing required expertise and skills to enable our Ambassadors to best present an informed image of Abu Dhabi,” said Nasser Al Reyami, standards regulations & licensing department director at TCA Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi ambassadors programme consists of essential training workshops covering hospitality, heritage and tourism over three months. This is in addition to specialised workshops on the subjects of how to deal with the media and public, etiquette and protocol fundamentals and principles of organising tours.
More than 440 ambassadors have graduated from the programme, from university students to government employees.
